This Exam Syllabus provides detailed information on what can be assessed in the exam. You can use it to plan your study. You may then rely on the training materials provided by an Authorized Training Organization to prepare yourself for the exam.
Candidates are expected to explain key agile concepts, such as empiricism, lean processes, timeboxing, iterative and incremental development approach, and minimal viable product. Candidates are expected to distinguish key agile frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban. Candidates are expected to distinguish Scrum events and artifacts. They should be able to describe the purpose of key agile practices.
Candidates are expected to be familiar with the meaning of a self-managing team, cross-functional, collaborating, and feature-based team. They should also be able to explain how a team can influence its values and behaviors. Finally, candidates should have detailed knowledge of the responsibilities of each role within an agile team
Candidates should be able to describe in detail the purpose of each agile event. They should also explain how to adapt these events to the environment. Candidates should be able to explain how to facilitate these events.
Candidates should be able to describe in detail the purpose of a product backlog, sprint backlog, and increment. Candidates should also be able to explain the purpose of a product goal, sprint goal, and definition of done. Finally, candidates should be able to explain how to facilitate the development of agile increments.
